As much as I love a pair of stilettos, nothing compares to that relaxed coastal feel of slipping off your sandals for a day in the sand. When I pack for the beach, I have three looks: bikinis, jean cutoffs, and easy breezy dresses. It’s the lightest suitcase I ever pack for a trip, and I love the casual vibe the coast brings.

While my overall vibe is relaxed in a coastal setting, I love the way a feminine dress looks effortless chic on vacation – especially paired with a straw hat and classic sandals. Soothing blues and crisp white midi dresses are so chic and timeless, and this girly puff-sleeved floral dress was perfect for an afternoon in Mexico Beach! I paired it with preppy Jack Rogers sandals for an afternoon of exploring, and traded the flats for heels to transition it to dinner.
